This indexing project was carried out in Givat Haviva's Peace Library under the direction of Mrs. Samira Mahammid. The index includes bibliographical references to articles from current Arabic periodicals in research fields such as Science, Literature, Political Science, Sociology, Religion and more.
The Index was established in 2006 with the intention of making this bibliographical information available for all interested users.
The founding and expansion of 'Givat Haviva Index' were made possible by, among others, the continuing support of 'Havatzelet Cultural and Educational Institutions of HaShomer HaTzair' Foundation and Givat Haviva Management.

The Index thesaurus currently contains more than 1,000 search terms and is growing constantly. The bulk of the terms consists of personal names, organizations, corporations, places, subjects, etc.
Articles can be searched by term/subject, author, article and periodical title.
