Givat Haviva has established a partnership between the first pair of communities participating in the program – the Jewish town of Pardes Hanna-Karkur (population – 32,000) and the neighboring Arab village of Kfar Kara (population – 17,000). The mayors of these localities have joined together in pioneering grassroots cooperation among diverse populations in their communities.
