Dear Mohammad and Schachar,

This is just to thank you very much for our conversation last Wednesday.
I found your work to be one of the few things I have seen during my trip to Israel that is a sign of hope. I know that the large scale political stage is generally a mess, on both sides of the Palestinian Israeli divide, and I despair about official policy towards minorities. There is real tragedy in this. But to see people working on the ground trying to figure out how people with differences can live and learn together, and perhaps even flourish in the process is something noteworthy. So thanks both for
your hospitality and for your work. I hope we will able to do something together in the future. The first point may be a study of your group and a sociological account of its importance. But this will take some thought.

Sincerely,
Jeff
