EDUCATION


One of the foremost challenges facing culturally diverse societies is the development of capacities enabling people of different backgrounds to learn to live together.  Lifelong education that nurtures intercultural competencies and embraces diversity as strength is fundamental to combating the ignorance and mistrust that are the source of human conflict. 

With a fervent belief in the power of education to change mindsets and value systems, Givat Haviva utilizes the national school system in Israel to educate the next generation for dialogue, cooperation and mutual respect through the implementation of projects reaching thousands of students and teachers every year. Several of these projects have been formally adopted by the Israeli Ministry of Education, and have received awards from national and international bodies.
