Givat Haviva Arts Center
The belief that art is a direct means and tool for bridging gaps and cultures, guides the various activities of the Center.

Art is an open language which creates esthetics, it is available, it creates a new human basis, a spiritual language comprising a connection between individuals and groups. The guiding line is always the personal, human and humanistic, while bringing the margins closer to the center. Art creates dialogue through joint activity, openness and the possibility to relate to every person as they are, in an equal manner.

The Arts Center at Givat Haviva strives to integrate arts with theoretical-social activity, to advance kibbutz, urban and Arab populations in the fields of the plastic arts, to serve as an advanced seminar for young artist of high school age and above. Courses for adults in the various fields of the arts take place mornings and evenings.

Various projects for Jewish and Arabs in the subjects of education and art, seminars, teacher training courses, activities for kindergarten and elementary school children also take place at the Center, as well as the Peace Gallery which offers changing exhibits every month.
