Kibutz and Seven Stars Tour – Visit two towns that were part of Ariel Sharon's Seven Stars Plan to tip the demographic scales in the region (Harish, Katzir). Also visit one of the local Kibutzzim (Mishmar Haemek or Barkai) and understand a little more about the jewish communities in the area. This tour does not involve going over the green line.

Bridge Over The Valley - Visit the Bi-Lingual school in Kafr Kari, and get to know one of the most impressive attempts to coexist in recent years. The school has a mixed Jewish Arab population and all classes are taught in both languages by a mixed staff of two teachers per class. The visit can include a discussion with school staff and children. The tour does not involve going over the green line.

Visit the Border Patrol Museum which offers a good view of the region from atop the memorial itself, and has interesting displays regarding the history of the Border Patrol Units of the Israeli Army. Most of these displays deal with the second Intifada, and are therefore relevant to current affairs.
